During your stay, explore the Research Triangle Park Area (“RTP”) up close and personal. Highly regarded as one of the largest high-tech research and development parks in the world, the RTP was named for the three major research universities: Duke University, NC State University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; and their three anchor cities: Durham, Raleigh, and Chapel Hill, respectively.

Our boutique hotel offers one suite and four guest rooms, all of which are located on the second floor of the inn. Each room includes its own private bath, as well as luxury bedding and linens. The common areas – Preston’s Parlor, Jacob’s Library, and the Pecan Dining Room – encourage relaxation or conversation. The hammock and swings in the rear garden beckon guests to sit back and have some relaxing “me time.” Our newly installed Bocce court with patio and firepit area offer guests another place to gather outdoors.

The Tiger Room

Rates: Starting at $194 per night

Before you even step out to explore the city, The Tiger Room will induce its magic, inviting you to rest in its comfortable king-size wrought-iron canopy bed, and surrounded by a magnificent outlining view from the windows. You may be impelled to wrap up in one of our plush robes to read an adventure or romance novel while nestled in the comfort of a chaise lounge, imagining the exciting places the antique Louis Vuitton trunk resting at the foot of the bed may have visited. The Eagle’s Inn

Rates: Starting at $194 per night

The Eagle’s Inn Room is a great choice of accommodations for a weekend or Girlfriend’s Getaway to North Carolina! Featuring two queen-size beds to comfortably host up to four people, this room is ideal for guests visiting the local universities or travel companions preferring their own beds. Comfortable and charming, this room overlooks the Bocce Court and Patio and is a favorite among our guests.

The guest room boasts a full bath complete with a seven-head shower, which some guests have deemed the “Human Car Wash.” Enjoy one of the room’s many novels while reclining, or pen your own at the writing desk. Stroll down to Brightleaf Square for dinner after a visit at Sarah P. Duke Gardens or one of the art exhibits at Nasher Museum. The Jasmine Room

The Jasmine Room is comfortably appointed with a queen-size bed, a reading recliner, and crackling flames from the electric firebox. The large private bath – with tub and shower – is perfect for soaking away the stresses of the day. A writing desk is available for those who may need to wrap up business or send a card or e-mail to a loved one. Guests can also take in the lovely view of our front gardens.

The Magnolia Suite

Rates: Starting at $214 per night

The Magnolia Suite at Morehead Manor Bed and Breakfast is perfect for business, a romantic North Carolina getaway, honeymoon, or just a break from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life.

This large bedroom suite can accommodate up to three people. It features a king-size wooden canopy bed with lights in its headboard, creating the perfect vibe for romance, reading, or dozing off for a restful night’s sleep. The sitting area in the main room is furnished with two high-back chairs and an electric firebox – a pleasant place for conversation while enjoying light refreshments or beverages. The suite also includes a cozy nook, furnished with love seat/sleeper and roll-top desk.

The private bath features a tub and shower with original tile work that brings an appealing character to the room.

When reserved with the adjoining Orchid Room this combination offers a two-bedroom, two-bath suite that can accommodate up to 5 people.

The Orchid Room

The Orchid Room envelopes you with the calming hues of purple and seafoam green. Escape and relax in this room that features a queen-size bed and overlooks the rear garden where you’ll find bench swings that invite you to take a seat and reminisce. The full bath features a soaking tub with shower.
