Fresh, colorful, and easygoing, GRUB Durham is a nice change of pace at lunchtime. The menu has enough variety to keep things interesting, especially when everyone’s craving something a little different.
I especially like it for the great salads and Blue Plate Specials. It’s a good spot to keep in mind when you want lunch to feel relaxed but still full of flavor.
3. Byrd’s BBQ

Craving barbecue for lunch? Byrd’s BBQ is a great one to keep on your list when you want something smoky, hearty, and full of Southern flavor. The brisket is smoked daily, and the lineup of Southern sides makes it easy to build exactly the kind of lunch you’re craving.
